Pothole Repair

Pothole Repair That Lasts

Potholes are a major issue in gravel driveways — especially in our rainy Northwest climate. They form when water sits in a low spot and cannot drain. Drivers then repeatedly hit the softened area and the potholes continue to get bigger and bigger.

Our Permanent Pothole Repair Process

We do not simply fill potholes. We fix them correctly:

  1. Remove any standing water

  2. Dig out loose, unstable material

  3. Cut to the bottom of the hole where the soil stops draining

  4. Break through the compacted, non-permeable layer so water can drain

  5. Rebuild the base with proper aggregate

  6. Add gravel, shape and crown the area, and compact

Done right, potholes don't return —and that’s how we do it!
